2026 - Macbeth

We have devised a year worth of activities for our members to learn all about the Shakespearean tragedy Macbeth.

• In August 2025 Richard and Mikki ran a four day summer school exploring the text and themes of the play.

• In September 2025 We will have  a session with a singing and dancing coach to learn some Scottish folk songs and dances. 

• In October 2025 Sandra and Carol will take the group to Reading Rep Theatre for a workshop about their production of Macbeth and we will watch the performance of the play: https://www.readingrep.com/whats-on/macbeth/

• In November 2025 Cheryl and Teresa will attend the RSC Production of Macbeth in Stratford on Avon with some of our members: https://www.rsc.org.uk/macbeth/
