2025 - Playboy of the Western World

We learned the Irish classic play Playboy of the Western World. The process is just as important (if not more so) than the performance.  Our members always enrich the collaboration and were central to creating the show. They have given ideas about the staging, the sound and the dialogue.  Their energy and commitment to the performance is always a joy and an honour to be part of.

In rehearsal we had lots of fun exploring some of the Irish culture, which included folk songs. We have also investigated emotions the characters go through and have created our Irish-themed set and props in our craft sessions.
