In May 2022 we resumed face to face rehearsals after two years of hibernation due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Our 'happy band' of actors was now depleted following several tragic losses during this most challenging of times.
We came together initially online and then face to face to create our version of the Chekhov play about a family that is struggling to cope and readjust following a death of a beloved family member.
The play explores themes of hope for the future, climate change and unrequited love.
We shared in a variety of online and face to face activities and workshops about the play and the themes during the Spring and Summer of 2022.
In the Autumn of 2022 we finally returned to face to face rehearsals and we put together a very well received Christmas themed story called Amahl and the Night Visitors. It tells the tale of a young boy who tells tall tales that no one believes, then in the night he sees something incredible, there are camels and the three kings and a visitor to a stable in the night. The story was performed to an invited audience of our supporters and friends.
